The color in this ice is incredible. Not every ice chunk looked like this and, to add to the challenge, the light in the morning sky was mostly grey with only a little warm light in certain places. So I had to find an interesting chunk of ice and then compose the scene with some color in the sky. Oh yeah, and I can't forget the biggest challenge which was keeping semi-dry as the waves crashed all around. Needless to say, my boots were soaked by the end of the session, but it was worth. Photo taken on Iceland's famous Ice Beach. I'll add more photos from last winter's Iceland trip soon!
