It's finally here, September. It's the month of autumn colors in the Rockies as aspens and cottonwoods turn gold while willows turn an array of reds, bronzes, and orange. While the color palette doesn't rival the reds, golds, oranges, and yellows of the Appalachians, it's still a beautiful time of year. This year has a special meaning for me and my wife as our daughter, Sophie, turns three months old on September 1st. I'm not sure why, but that seems like a milestone for some reason. That's also why I decided to share this fox kit photo now as well, as these kits, photographed back in May, are actually older than my little girl!
