The beauty of the Yellowstone River isn't limited to Yellowstone National Park. The river begins deep in the Thorofare region of Yellowstone National Park, flows through Wyoming but enters Montana before leaving Yellowstone, and then flows through Montana for most of it's length before entering North Dakota shortly before joining the Missouri River. Seen here where Emigrant Peak looms above the famed river, the area is called Paradise Valley and if you've ever seen it, you'll understand why.
