Couple of Photos from Yellowstone

Even though I've been photographing Yellowstone for over 21 years, I still find scenes that amaze me. Here's a couple of recent moments that were incredible not only to photograph but to witness. Above, I love finding interesting foregrounds. Sometimes it takes a little looking to find them and other times they just become so obvious. The ice shapes on the edge of the river were just obvious. In order to get this view, I actually was on my belly with my camera resting on the snow at the river's edge. Below, a recent snow coach trip took us down into Hayden Valley. The windswept hills presented beautiful textures and animal tracks were present over the landscape. Even with as much time spent in Yellowstone as I've accrued over the years, moments like this still leave me speechless.
