Photographing in the fog can be a tricky endeavor. The fog can trick the autofocus on the camera to miss focus. It can also mess with the exposure, under exposing the images. And finally it can make the image very flat with little contrast. The first two challenges can be overcome by changing the settings on the camera such as manually focusing and setting the exposure to over expose, but the third needs a little help from nature, such as having the fog lift just a little to let in some nice warm light. This young bear is most likely spending it's last few days or weeks with it's mother before she boots him or her out and on it's own.
